Welcome to SeniorNet Glenfield

We welcome people who would like to learn more about computers and what they can do:

  • Smartphones and tablets
  • iPhones and iPads
  • Messaging applications
  • Video calling
  • Online banking
  • Making wider use of the internet
  • Photo editing
  • Spread sheets
  • Document creation
  • File and folder organisation

Many of our enquiries for membership come from people who would like to spread their wings.

Our Courses and workshops are evolving to meet all sorts of requests.  For example there is reduced call for Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Word and MS Excel) and more for Free Office applications (e.g. Libre Office), but both are still available.

Also our selection of Stand Alone Workshops  has a wide range of computer based technologies.

Special Interest Groups (SIG)

SeniorNet Glenfield have people interested in several skill areas. We have SIGs for exploring Photo Editing (Affinity Photo by Serif) and working with iPads.

Monthly Meetings

We also hold meetings for members on the 3rd Monday of each month. There is a presentation by a Guest Speaker and a Tutor spot followed by tea and coffee. A $2 donation is requested and members are welcome to bring a friend.

If you purchase or are given

a new or pre-loved laptop, get in touch.

We can make it even better.
